the issue is whether or not you should back an opinion with a fact/s or an expert opinion

people who express opinions that are not supported with either are implying that THEY are in fact experts

my point is that people who think they can just express opinions without substantiating them are really saying they are experts

by not supporting his opinions, tony is in fact implying that he is an expert
