The Riflebird E14 flow rate of 257,000 scf/d was with a 16/64" choke, while the Kingfisher E1 flow rate at the same depth was 900,000 scf/d with a 32/64" choke. The flow rate should be proportional to the cross-sectional area of the choke, and double the diameter means four times the area, so the flow rates match up from both wells, implying that at least over the 950m the reservoir is homogeneous. So why did RB E14 show "heavy condensate" and KF E1 didn't show even a trace of ethane?
