Just an update on using Flexiroam for a month in Indonesia and Singapore. Overall it was easy to use and didn't have to swap physical Sims and go through the process that entails.

Overall it's definitely, right now, far more expensive to use Flexiroam then the local SIM. $50 plus for 10GB. That's about $10-$15 more expensive then going down the physical sim car path.

10GB doesn't last very long these days either. Maybe a few days with social media usage etc so if you're on a family holiday that extra money spent adds up. I know during the latest webinar Marc did say they are working on reducing those costs to be more competitive.

Only other downside which I gave them feedback was if you run out of data you cannot check the app or top up until you connect to wifi again. Little thing but annoying none the less.

Overall it's a good product and definitely suited to the corporates and people travelling for conferences and sporting events. Right now it's not for the family traveler I believe.

E-SIMs are still in its infancy though. Any I spoke to whilst away had no idea what a e-Sim was.
