There is no evidence of "a volatile upward trend" in fact all the evidence on an intra day basis and longer term is down.
Last nights late DJIA rally was a "intra day dead cat bounce" if I have ever seen one.
Look at the volumes of late trading and the reasons why the market rallied.
It's not good mate and saying otherwise is a denial of facts that are as plain as can be.
