Did not watch Catalyst but strange thing I read a local rag for Roma District which takes in all new CSM projects from Surat Area up to Toowoomba. Apparently $100B supposed to be in pipeline!!??!!
Dalby is about to double population due to additional accommodation for CSM Mines. Biggest concern was what will happen to water and 10,000 tons of salt expected each year(??)
According to Rag it is not clear who will actually own the water yet?? I think just a few farmers concerned as I think Councils will embrace the economic activity after many years of drought has ruined economy.
But there is another story.. Roma and district just had 9 inches of rain in a week.. (half their annual supply!).. all dams are full and the countryside is as green as Ireland!
