Kevi, just had a play with the photobucket options and I may have discovered an even easier way to post a thumbnail in the same fashion you do using the "HTML Thumbnail" option.
If you just cut and paste the "HTML Thumbnail" link as normal and remove the "?action=view¤t=" part it just links to the pic rather than the photobucket account. I also noticed firefox resizes the the linked image to the users browser size :)
