It’s a skill worth pursuing to try and get in early on a trend, electrification, the various raw materials in that thematic, oil, banking, etc, etc.

And any level of knowledge, the more in-depth the better including global issues, macro trends, helps with an investment decision. Individual stocks within trends respond to that trend, that’s what drives prices!
