after looking at the facts again using the us debt clock
this is after using the "real time" button in the top right hand corner
look at this figure
the interest bill for gov debt = $387,878m
now have look at this figure
total government revenue = $4,455,559m
revenue from taxes/interest = 114
now that means that the US government can cover the interest bill on its $12trillion debt by .... now get this
114 times!!!!!!
and people worried that the government would default on a loan
