To be honest I don't fully comprehend what this letter of intent implies, as far as I understand, sonic healthcare just provide pathology services so they're not actually promoting/marketing PromarkerD. They are just managing the workflow and process for doing the test, I.e the infrastructure.
promoting and influencing physicians to use the test will still rest on the shoulders of the KOLs and without a IVD version of the test uptake is going to be very slow. IVD requires FDA denovo which we know is a 9-12month turn around.
I think PIQ will be very well established in 2-4 years time as PromarkerD revenues really start flowing and other pipeline test will start joining their revenue stream. I need to double check their US patent for PromarkerD too, how many years left?..
