I have & hold the big 4 banks long term for juicy dividend's through my SMSF but unfortunately see it time & time again where these big 4 bank's have become more & more greedy at the expense of vulnerable/less fortunate Australian's.
Inequality & exploitation in society brings no benefits whatsoever as once our middle class is destroyed then Australia is sadly going down the gutter. With ever increasing inflation/mortgage rates many young Australian families under financial pressure will soon lose their family home as big 4 bank's will take their property & capitalise as a result.
During the global financial crisis our Government & Aussie tax payer's came to the rescue of our big 4 bank's in funding/bailing them out - big 4 bank's also in turn through RBA/APRA regulation did significant capital raising's some year's ago in burning/diluting shareholder's as a result.
