What the lyrebird has failed to tell the forum is that these renewable energy projects on KI , FI and Coober Pedy have reduced diesel usage by 65%, 60% and 70% respectively.
All using technology that is in some cases over 10 years old. Using very little energy storage, or none, and using little 1 MW wind turbines .So, reducing diesel usage in remote locations for nearly a decade now has saved millions of dollars.
Clearly if they did these projects now using todays tech they would be right up there in the high 90% if not 100% renewable. What is it with these deniers and lying ?
