This will be either concentrate or unseparated carbonate. Yes many industries need magnet and other things. That all starts with Separated oxides which is what the LAMP does. Where is this product going to be turned into oxides. If the 2019 plan was well thought out why the sudden rush to produce what is more product that right now only China has the capability of using.

Ok explain this you say 12,000 tons NDPR equivalent which means 12,000tons of NDPR. That was in addition to what they are already doing. NEXT is suppose to be 7.2 KT though they have never even achieve pre next rate of 6KT ndpr equivalent. in 2025 Lamp is suppose to be 10.5 NDPR EQ. So why do they need this right now. where is it going to be processed. You can keep talking in circles.

Have you read anything about What MP is doing? Have you listened to their CCs? Have you looked at pictures of how construction at both facilities is going? Did you think why GM gave them money to build a metals and magnets plant that is already under construction if all they would be do is selling dirt to China when that plant is done in 18 months. What MP is selling to China is unseparated REE carbonate not dirt. This was already being manufactured when MCP was there, and they have many patents on the process while Lynas has none. All the tailings have been dry, and all chemicals and water are recycled. This takes large amounts of electric power. Years ago MCP installed an 8 inch RAW NG HP pipe line from nearby trunk line to power 3 Large GE Gas turbines. Only two have been installed and they actually have surplus electric Running on only one right now. Try doing some research before you make statements you cannot support.

MP still says they will be testing Separated REE Oxide production in Q4. Very low volume test samples. I believe this about as much as I believe KAL will be fully functional in June 2023. MP did announced 3 Qs ago they were slipping, a Q ago they showed how they had added a second shift of Plumbers and Electricians to come back on schedule. MP is giving out far more info about what is going on than Lynas. If you are going to talk about MP please do some basic research and present facts Your saying they ship dirt to China shows you know nothing.

Just my guess but this time Next year AL will not be able to say she is the only large REE oxide manufacture out side of China. And will not be able to say they have the cleanest process in the world. Just to get you started here is MP Q2 report.

Please note that MP being a US company has to file all Reports with US SEC if any thing proves false the ramification for MP are far greater than for Lynas with what they file.
