Why not wait until full details are relayed before passing judgment?
We all knew that the CR was happening in the very near term, none of us really wanted them to wait until they were broke before raising, so with the increase in SP over the last week this was an astute time to do it.

Sure the price is lower than some wanted but it is still 50% higher than it was a few weeks back when hovering around 90 cents, and guarantees that it will be gobbled up by both Retail and Institutional investors.

We will then have funds to take on the next couple of crucial years with confidence and can use the positive 008 results to keep building without the threat of a CR hanging over our heads.
I'm going to take the currently unpopular position and say, well done Paradigm team for making the CR decision now and wait for the details to unfold...

I like this attitude...good post.

I was also chatting to a mate last night and said, Id rather take the pain now, early...than get the top line 008 to only have to groan at that point as we have a CR then. Timing for this can always be debated, its what it will eventually produce/fund thats important.
