4DS and imec were satisfied with the short loop and progressed PL3 to the etch stage. This dramatically increases the likelihood PL would be successfully processed.
Subsequent testing of the short loop wafers confirmed the decision to progress to the etch phase.
Directors and employees (current and former) exercised options, only just in the money, to bring in well over $1m and pretty much fund an entire quarter of operations.
During imec's initial testing, the market was informed that PL3 wafers had been successfully manufactured.
But there is still a possibility it could be bad news coming.
