Fairly minor problem in itself but Cadia has been having a few of these now and they all add up. Been a few seismic events etc that have impacted mining operations, it seems to be a naturally active area. There is also a lot of subsidence happening at the surface too, not far from where this happened, which is going to keep the earth moving. Plus of course the tailings dam failure, which is not related to this but is another thing the market no doubt remembers.
I guess it's just a reminder that there is always the risk of events like this happening out of the blue, they were lucky this time that it won't stop production but it might not be the case every time.
