I agree with your comments. I don't wish to denigrate VIL but it's just an investment company with little or no experience in the O&G business. Funnily enough I am involved with another company that the VIL chairman is also the chairman of and it isn't in O&G.

In my opinion FP was a marriage of convenience for GGP as they had problems that needed fixing and SG has now done that and they are now moving forward.

One thing I find reassuring is we have an MD on site at the sharp end.

I guess I'm talking my book but I do try to be realistic as well.
