sounds like you're copying & pasting American stock information for the US market; i found no such information from ASIC or in our Corporations Act.

the share buy-back section reference in our Corporations Act is 257A-J. found what i was looking for here:

so i'm quite sure bought back shares will be cancelled; unless someone can show me where the company said otherwise, as i cannot locate that, & i have not found any Australian legislation permitting bought back shares to be re-issued, or that they can be used by the company in any way. if anyone can find that information, i'd appreciate it...
