Do you own the shares in your name or do you have a custodian - the financial institution that bought the shares. If custodian the share would be in their name and hence no notification. I can only suggest to get in touch with who bought the shares on your behalf and you maybe able to do a proxy vote. Sorry not knowledgeable enough to advise.
