What is it with RWNJs and lying ????
I have not claimed that they will last 100 years.
I merely suggested that given there are millions of large concrete structures around the world that are over a century old, it is likely that the bases of wind turbines could have very long lives. Easily outlasting the life of the generator that might be only 20-30 years.
Also, seeing that wind turbines have increased in size and efficiency by many times over the past 20 years, it only makes sense to repower with a modern machine.
Added to that, given that the best sites are probably already taken, it's makes absolute sense to reuse the site and the grid connections within.
If any business can reduce capex and extend the life of it's infrastructure then it;s going to do it.
Given that I have posted several references of companies including GE that are exploring repowering existing sites suggests that repowering is totally plausible.
Only an idiot wouldn't understand that.

So again you try and lie your way out
The concrete base of the wind turbine will be used over and over as the generator above is replaced. Should get 50-100 years out of each base. Much longer than a coal fired or nuclear power station.
an idiot would undersatand that
because an idiot wrote it
