It's only in its "infancy" if you don't understand basic engineering - which many in Australia don't - they have had no exposure to any kind of engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) - a result of the lack of Industry here.

5 years and the prime mover needs to be replaced? You're just pulling numbers out of your rear at this point. If you don't think EV prices will come down significantly , you must live a very sheltered life.
