But imagine if the CN "arranger " (as opposed to a formal fund) was relying on a share price 'pop' after the announcement of the CN raising (as a consequence of funding uncertainty being removed) to it make it easy to market the CN to 'family offices' (as would already be heavily 'in the money' instrument).

I suppose no share price pop and they would, this hypothetical arranger, reach for the fine print to wiggle out or renegotiate terms.

Nah that is just too crazy a scenario to contemplate.

It was just a silly hypothetical, which absolutely bares no resemblance to reality,
