The annual report will be good no doubt. However management have focused on fundamentals and not share price too much, the company is achieving growth and profit every quarter, and is performing well (on past announcements) on projects currently underway, another $16 million in awarded contracts recently achieved, and yet the SP is barely holding at 16c. The company is currently being run as a profitable private company, fundamentals are growing, profit and net money in bank is growing so they are not really concerned about SP, as they expect it to correct and the market will catch on and rerate will occur, this time last year we were trading in the high 20c mark, and since then the company has strengthened and the SP has dropped to 16c. As soon as you list on the asx you are obliged to perform for your shareholders in an investment return way, company strength is great but we are here for a return on our investment, and currently we are not getting that from management, this can be done by a dividend payment, share buy back which will intern strengthen the SP or increasing the advertising about the company to try and get some volume, we no longer have to do quarterly reports as we have been cash flow positive for a long time, so now it is up to management to stand up and keep us informed of project completions, updates on how project are progressing, current tender options and expected tender wins. with an increase in the SP comes an increase in MC, and a lot of investment funds wont look at a company with no dividend and a MC below 100 million, this needs to be promoted and pushed by the company, as far as an investment goes the last 12 months has been very poor, even though the company is doing extremely well. The consolidation option was an odd one as well, management expected this to stop the pip trading that was going on with the company, but trading between 16-17c is the same as trading between 1.6-1.7 so it was never going to achieve this, the best way to increase volume is to update investors, provide a return on their investment, if you are using shareholders money it is managements job to provide a return, this is the only part at which WSI is failing, and I hope to see some direction in the upcoming annual report, as if the company continues to become more profitable on the ground but investors are loosing money on our investment then being in the company is pointless.
