No. "Honour" Killers are fragile male egos that refuse to accept rejection, and in revenge for their feelings of inadequacy, resort to murder.
In some South American countries, for a while, there was a legal defense called "machismo": Essentially, the perpetrator was found Not Guilty, by way of "temporary insanity" caused by their male "honour" being damaged by the victim. e.g. Murdering your wife because she didn't have dinner ready for you when you got home from work.
I believe that this form of defense has since been disallowed.
