Assuming you are right,

• Why would JK have not of bothered to contact them beforehand to get the attention you suggest he is craving?
• What other stories has JK been in front of and pandering to the media about?
• Do other CEO's market their company? Isn't that a normal course of their activity?

You know if he'd said no comment, they would have whacked him harder. You'd be on here saying the exact opposite of what you suggested he should say.
