Unitract who have promised so much yet delivered very little, still have their machinery for production in Melbourne when they were meant to have it interstate ready for production months ago.
Alot of their annual report is just dribble. Most of their commentary on retractable syringes isn't even specific to Unitract itself. They talk as if they have a monopoly and most of the benefits attributed with retractable syringes will only flow on as benefits to themselves.
They made a $5.8million loss for 03/04. Quite pathetic really.
Personally, I am a very big fan of RTL. Putting aside their share price and market cap in comparison to UNI, they have enormous potential. There are some exciting times ahead of this company with trials currently being conducted inwards of some major hospitals. What this basically means, is that the company gave samples of their product to hospitals such as the Alfred, who in turn trial and sample the product for a period of time then put their purchase orders in.
From what I hear their feedback has been fantastic to date, hence sale contracts are imminent.
Seriously UNI have run their race. If they ever see $1 again, I’ll be very surprised.
