Ye I'm one of those. I haven't put all the cash back in yet. Well the fact that Plat Int'l was say 58% invested at June 30 then 77% invested at Jul 31. Gives me pause. I fully intend to put the rest back in when his bear rally gets the kick in the guts PTM (and numerous diverse others) expect. In the meantime I'm making bank on my aggressive commodities (metals) plays. It's dumbbell strategy.

Nor is it all or nothing, Plat get say 80% of their normal funds as a core I only swing 10% to 20% of them. My full result is a combination of what Plat and I do. They are supposed to be active and better than me aren't they.

I'm only saying all of this to give you guys an insight how some may think. I'm not a soph. BTW.

Also, an insight onto that significant swing in Plat asset allocation may be. When There is a strong 'risk on rally' the cost oppies and/ or shorts become cheap for PTM to buy. They alternate with cash to minimise the costs of their strategy.

PTM have done really well by me over the long term (esp. the Asian Fund) and whilst their performance may be fading their openness and explaining what they do has got me on board for the long term (Me love you long-time! Ha, Ha).

    All IMVHO.
