look I think we have to accept there will be shorting across a number of stocks with looming problems with China, deflation next year and the markets as a whole will be volatile. so perhaps the shorting we are seeing is more reflective that the markets are going to reflect poor performance across sectors because of supply chain and energy price issues impacting operational costs and profits.
