well - look at the murder rates. That sort of blows the theory right out the window.

There are only two ways that I can think of (off the top of my head) to really put a dent in the issue of the morrisons, trumps, hitlers and the like -

1. a different culture. A well educated, caring culture. An inclusive culture, a tolerant culture, but, a respectful, civil and well mannered and genuine culture.

2. a totally different political system.

If we look at pretty much ALL of the problems in politics in America and in Australia --

all of the problems come from the election process

a. sad sacks, sickos and power freaks join political parties and go for power positions. Nutters, mental jobs.

b. they use their mental and character deficiencies to sway influence from the mob who puts them in power - so ------------ the psychopaths and narcissists and religious nuts - they do very well. The ones who deceive the best - they do very very well.

c. the ones who can be bought ------- they are a natural fit for heading to the top

all of that is created by the election process

ditch the election process - and, all of those problems disappear.

None of these "people" get anywhere without lobbying from "paid" lobbyists or from "donations". As life has always been about influence how do you propose that we do these things "democratically".
