no I’m not contradicting myself at all. My point has been consistent - that attitudes towards women have little to do with competence of capability and a lot to do with other factors. Height, how intellectually threatening they are, views about their roles.
Theses are all biases. The real skill is to be able to recognise when we are falling back to these biases and to learn to collect data to get the best person, pay for performance etc. yes biases are “natural” but that doesn’t make them right or useful. They are simply a neurobiological method of avoiding cognitive overload.
