It's nice to have some news but it's not earth moving. Given that HCH are going to be plugging into the grid, they should be investigating electrification of the mining fleet and as much of the operations as possible. Electrification of underground fleets is the way forward as ventilation of diesel fumes is a significant OH&S operational matter for underground mines.
Then there are continuous mining rock cutters such as the all electric Komatsu MC51 that replace traditional drill and blast in underground operations https://im-mining.com/2021/11/01/komatsu-mc51-gets-cutting-hillgroves-kanmantoo-copper-project/
I wonder whether we will still need our own back-up generator on-site.
