hey mate I am calm. I also did the studies I referred to. So I know exactly what they say. I use statistical methods so they are sound. Same with the research on the approach to setting pay rates that has shaped male and female jobs. It might have found favour but it has some fundamental flaws that show inherent bias.
so let’s start with one thing. I am quite capable of using an intellectual approach and applying methods that keep my biases in control. It’s part of my job and it’s part of my upbringing.
if someone starts to tell me I’m a victim, I’m getting emotional or some of the more recent stuff you’ve tried I’ll respond how I choose not how you think I should.
I’m not going to figuratively lie down and take it. You and others set out your version of womanhood and think we should behave that way
this is how I think men should behave
listen to what women tell them about their perception of the world without feeling the need to tell us we are wrong
accept that there are individual differences and experiences and life circumstances that will shape how any person behaves
avoid gaslighting
do the cooking, cleaning - especially the toilet, washing up and looking after the kids after a day at work and give the mother a rest when she comes home from work even if the man works himself
try to stop solving womens problems for them. Solve your own
avoid sexist crude language when out with mates
blah blah. Actually I don’t much care how you behave - just try not to expect me or other women to like it regardless
