    I guess you're right.

    I look at countries with roving bands of bored and unmarried men causing chaos and it's my hmm. Cultural preference for non-violence ? I guess? That makes me think it's not good.

    This also applies to the men/ women distinction.

    I suppose that when it comes down to it I think co-operation - people agreeing to mutual rules - has more benefits than everyone playing by their own rules.

    That's my own bias. People should follow their own rules, sure, make up their own games, and accept the consequences that come with.

    I suppose its (lol) a little patriarchal of me to say "you don't want to live in a world where men aren't protecting you from other men". You may well want to live in that world!

    So, good point. Everyone does their own thing. We accept those consequences. Fair. Just.
