Its also a timely reminder to the big guns that the little guy may not always roll over and sell its shareholders’ souls at a discount. BlueScope, while not exactly “little”, is still dwarfed by Shell, and any deal at Port Kembla had to be in BlueScope’s shareholders’ foremost interests. Control of a project comes at a steep premium, which I’m sure David Frances has been clearly articulating to TE over many months now.
