broker appears to be acting with extreme randomness:
to keep the day traders guessing was my initial thought; but:
less than a month ago the broker bought millions/day & then 5m/day for two consecutive days (25th & 26th July & paid an average of over 10¢ per share); yesterday they bought only a measly 100k @ 0.0807¢ per share, after not having bought any since Friday last week & SP is at the lowest price since SBB started;
never seen a buy-back where the broker has failed so badly & overpaid like this before.
on those numbers & the timings to-date, my conclusion is the broker isn't acting in the best interest of shareholders, or is incompetent;
also the fact that the bought back shares aren't being cancelled T+2 according to the shares on issue reported by the ASX remaining static, is very puzzling?
