Why so small? Well, in highly pressurised wells, you don't want to start off with a large choke. The guy at the top of the well might get blown 20ft backwards! This flowed condensate at 50+ barrels a day. That's roughly two barrels per hour.
Two barrels of condensate filled per hour with a 2.34mm nozzle. I reckon there's huge pressure down that well. No wonder they are taking their time. You want them to flow it straight off with a 32/64 choke and get a blow out and damage the well permanently?
