I am clearly missing out on some of the more fantastic conspiratorial explanations for this company's existence because I have those posters on ignore.

The problems with all claims that something is a conspiracy - and this is always a factor that tells you that its probably not actually a conspiracy - is that the more you try to get an intelligent explanation as to how and why somebody is plotting to pull off a scam, the more and more people have to be involved with perpetrating it, and for darker and darker reasons, until you get to something like "pizza gate", where a totally unbelievable scenario can only be justified by totally nonsensical beliefs that are needed to drive the whole thing. Of course they are always going to require some kind of superhuman mastermind villain to hold it all together, and of course that guy inevitably starts to show up in the conspiracy somewhere. (It's not Darth Vader, it's the Emperor who has foreseen all these things. Yeh, right.) All I can do is to marvel at the level of trust that the conspiracy theorists have in otherwise ordinary people's abilities to work together to mount and persist in a strategy they know is based on lies without any disagreements, friction, or politics showing up or causing it to crash. The point is that in many cases most of the conspirators are not doing it for any significant reward. And even when they are, it is never acknowledged that money has never seemed to be enough to ensure people cooperate with others unquestioningly in genuine businesses. Quite the opposite in fact.

All I can say is that these people have clearly never tried to run a project or manage a team.

AP has made some very clear announcements about its progress to date. Several manufacturers have been involved in making sub-componentry for AP's chip. There have been in-house test procedures involved in producing every one of those parts by their manufacturers. The principles and IP have been patented. The work is real. The products are real. The money changing hands in exchange for real work done is real. The problems we have had along the way are also real. The anguish that accompanies those problems has been obvious to all even though brave faces have been put on to maintain confidence. The analysis and solutions have been real, and new patents have resulted. Given that up until very recent times the chip needed an external HV power supply and a PC to control the chips has meant that there could not be a demo of the latest chips as stand alone devices. So how does the lack of a demo prior to this indicate that it is all suspect?

If someone can account for all of these checkable facts by showing any of them being false then I'm prepared to consider their theories. Otherwise they are best to remain on ignore.
