well, my guess is LOT more than that. But, it's irrelevant for your little comfort - because however they got to where they are -
if society doesn't look after them - it's YOUR kitchen window they'll break in to get in and steal your telly.
if it gets as bad as America, not only will they steal your telly - they may well rape your daughter and shoot you as well
basically - it's your call
oh, and, yes - I've worked with people at the bottom - I've owned taxis in low socioeconomic areas, I've spent a lot of time out in rough outback towns and I've worked with drugs and alcohol patients --
and, I've spent a shitload of time listening to where they came from - the conditions they were born into and grew up in.
Millions of kids in Australia are born literally superglued behind the eightball. A huge amount of them have 'never' been exposed to other ways of life - so, they never even have a chance to dream about better things - because - they just don't know.
either way - I consider my role in life, when given chances - is to leave a better world - not to die with money.
