Video shows CEO highlighting the key dilemma with MGT project feasibility.... eventually he admits to the main issue that they have not resolved yet....
IS IT Finance and off-takes - no, seems happy with that... announcements incoming;
IS IT Port negotiations and logistics - no, seems happy with that, close proximity to existing rail straight to Port and negotiations well progressed;
IS IT Power Supply - no, connecting to the existing low-cost grid;
IS IT Management - clearly not;
IS IT Resource size or quality - no, that's a no brainer;
IS IT Permitting and Approvals - no, Government and other stakeholders are happy at this point. Low environmental impact. All progressing well;
IS IT Iron Ore prices - no, project break even $40/T... base case price $110 (long term average)... short term price volatility isn't a consideration;
So what is it??? WELL, They are questioning whether they should aim to increase output volume and output grade, not because they need to, but because it would appear that they can - so what a dilemma to have!!! I'm quite concerned about this
