imo if the Party wants to stand any chance at all at the next election, they will need to eject him into the vacuum of Independent members who don't have a platform, a work ethic or the desire to better the nation in any meaningful way.

just like at the G20, Morrison will be isolated until he resigns --- who then will take him to their heart, or offer him a job.
