"A group of traditional owners in Western Australia's Mid West is stepping up action against a resource company's attempts to drill on their land.The Jidi Jidi Aboriginal Corporation is entering the third week of a protest with Sandfire Resources at the Doolguna site, north of Meekatharra.Sandfire wants to drill on the land as part of a gold and copper project.The director of Jidi Jidi, Georgina Riley, says traditional owners remain camped at the site and have now written to the Commonwealth Government seeking an temporary injunction against the work.Sandfire has been unavailable for comment."
