I'm sure phase II will be methodical and like the previous comments said, maybe administered in the lead up to developing sepsis ie. the first signs or symptoms of sepsis. It would be really amazing to have 327 administered while they take the blood samples for cultivation as a preventative measure. I remembered a interview with James and him saying that R327 was meant to be the first line of defence against bacterial infections. they're not looking to replace every antibiotic on the market. But if R327 is administered in the first instance regardless of what bacterial infection is known it would increase the chances of survival to the patient.

I also wonder if during Phase II if it could be administered as a last resort with a person severely affected with sepsis. much like the special assistance scheme. that would surely be the "be all" of clinical tests required.

I'm interested to see how the phase II will proceed and what constraints will be put into the clinical trials.
ie. do they only treat males from 18-50 with normal BMI like they did during the phase I trails.

figures differ but I found an arrival stating around 55,000 people in Australia develop sepsis in hospitals. I'm sure there will be no shortage of potential patients for phase II
