Hi MarkyBoy49,
Thanks again for all your insights and observations - great work! My thoughts (very open to alternate interpretations) to your enquiries summarised below.
MB49
This makes me think that CNJ/GSR potentially have another major high-grade nickel discovery on their hands which is much further to the west within their MTJV tenement (future Phase 3 drilling program?) i.e. in the area in and around the historical drill hole MTRC015. I base this on the fact that on May 19th, 2010, it was announced that MTRC015 returned 6 metres of 3.40% nickel (from 201 metres downhole), including 2 metres of 6.75% nickel. Your thoughts?

Sorry MB49, but I do not believe GSR-CNJ have another major Ni discovery at depth in the SW area of their tenement on the map provided - see below. Whilst the Ni grades encountered areimpressive, in my opinion thethicknesses penetrated (<10m) and areal extent drilled, perhaps 500m x 100m goingby GSR’s mapping, are at best marginally economic. The JVP drilledmultiple holes proximal to MTRC015but results did not warrant continued exploration / appraisal.

I also think that it is highly interesting that the outline of the existing surface MTJV Co-Ni-Mn resource/deposit on the map from the announcement on May 19th, 2010, seems to encompass the current Phase 1 and the planned Phase 2 drilling program. Perhaps CNJ/GSR also have a major high-grade nickel discovery at depth directly beneath their existing and confirmed MTJV Co-Ni-Mn resource/deposit? Your thoughts?
OldGeo
What CNJ-GSR are drilling now, could be a major PGE discovery, and there is the distinct possibility that the Co-Ni-Mn oxide deposit is the surfaceexpression of deeper disseminated sulphides (Ni-Cu) and possibly PGE’s that the current drillingprogram is targeting. Note the positionof the surface gossans (3 white diamonds) on the eastern margin of the oxide deposit;gossans within anomalous Ni and Pd assays. Are these surface gossans pathways for fluids enriched with metal ions to migrate to the surface, where they are weathered and oxidised to form a surface deposit of Co-Ni-Mn? Other gossans may be present in the tenement, buthidden beneath the regolith. I do not believe there is another major, high-grade nickel discovery deeper than what our current drilling program istargeting. See map and cross-section below.
I would also add that the "Mt Thirsty Oxide Deposit" appears to encompass a very large area, and it clearly extends to the west of historical hole MTDD008 (which signifies the eastern boundary of the "Mt Thirsty Oxide Deposit"), and where historical hole MTDD009 signifies the eastern boundary of the "Mt Thirsty Oxide Deposit". Your thoughts?
OldGeo - Agreed.
Kind regards OldGeo
