In my opinion : The company engaged in a practice akin to political pork barreling: advantaging one group of shareholders , the new ones , over existing shareholders This occurred when, they offered drastically cheaper shares to new holders with the issue of Convertable notes.The stock became affected by a variable that is , the conversion rate of the shares , discounted by the WAP. As the share price fell, the number of shares rose, and therefore the percentage ownership of the company. The CN's acted as a derivative and are unsuitable as a share instrument .The C&SC should annul this event .
