I fully agree, like space x Elon keeps on going till perfection. New tech is super hard. But I feel each lithium plant has its own challenges. So each Corp will tackle this in their own way to sort out any issues.

The fundamentals of DE have been around for years. They are just incorporating it on an Industrial scale. We have the engineers to do this, its very time-consuming as everything must work on the scale at 100% efficiency.
But why would smart people like Bill Gates / Jeff Bezo invest in million in DE Corps such as Lilac.

Anson Resources Ltd (ASX:ASN) has had the engineering design of its brine pre-treatment and lithium carbonation processes completed by Hatch Engineering as part of Anson’s planned industrial-scale in-field pilot plant.Lilac Solutions has also nearly completed design and construction of the pilot plant’s lithium extraction processes, with Anson having assessed Hazen Research’s work on incorporating the extraction of other chemical products in the pilot plant flowsheet.
