The idea that MIN were against Oil production came from an agm where a grandmother asked a question of Chris Ellerson relating to Global Warming(Climate Change) and he answered that he wanted to convert his production fleet to gas as a response to GW(CC).
I think that his decision was more related to the relatively cheap price of Gas relative to Diesel and he just used that answer to politically deal with a challenging question without conflict with that particular shareholder.
I have personally been to more than one Oil and Gas companies agms where this same scenario has happened.
I therefore do not take much away from this type of confrontation and I am sure that MIN are very interested in Springy Creek and are keen to develop it.
