Freezing 9 mths of year, still cold overnight mostly through summer compared to whole east coast - 7 out of the 10 are cold so allowing much of the world lives in colder climates lets over look this one (and not ask the bushfire victims from last year for their votes or take into account the summer high extremes and the fact the sun burns right into your skin being closer to hole over antartica in the ozone)

Traffic sux, there are 2hrs morning and night when a 20min trip doubles or even triples in time, even if you use the tollways (no freeways left you pay for them all at some point) and each tollway reduces to a crawl during paek hours. At least in Sydney some tollways fees can be claimed back for privately registered vehicles.
Soon to be the dearest in Aust for water after the gov overlooked all other options to build the biggest, highest energy using desal plant in the world over 100kms from town, pumping it all the way back will cost residents a fortune. Currently permenant water restrictions mean never washing vehicles at home, gardens odds and evens 6-8am in the morning when the average worker needs to go to work and its freezing at that time 6mths of the year min.
