My opinion only - the craft market, where GRB (as opposed to GDA) is strongly rooted, is also quite territorial. Us West Aussies (or me, anyway) like Gage because we grew up here, You could see Gage Roads from the beach a 5 minute walk from my childhood home - thats a huge factor in brand recognition, and if you look at the Hottest 100 polling, you can see the beers that do well tend to come from the area with a bigger market - people vote for what they drink in their local or buy from their bottlo.. .And for more of the east coast, that's not GRB beers... But Victorians know Stomping Ground - and I reckon they'll be a really good fit for GDAs portfolio..
