Jobkeeper was far from perfect, clunky but critically important.. Put left leaning political bias aside, there’s no question the policy was necessary and ultimately saved Australia’s economy from much a deeper recession and saved hundreds of thousands of jobs which propped up livelihoods, jobs and property markets, financial markets and the wider local economy.
