more philosophical friendly discussion then disagreement but you could go the other way. production levels will need to remain the same or higher as the mouths that need feeding dont disappear. so producers that can continue to function will be required to increase yeild exponentially.... they will also want to as it will be a sellers market where they will set the price. so I'd imagine that rather than curtail fert consumption it'll increase. further the drought will effect the production of fertiliser just as much as factories and refineries consume bucket loads of water.... I'm betting on a squeeze rather that a softening. pink sheet published on the 2nd of september so guess we'll see.
