Its not downramping, its calling it out for what it is (good or bad). As an investor you need to be objective. What MAN has done here is unconscionable imho. We all think that deadline date of 24 August is material, yet MAN obviously doesn't because it chose to remain silent and let the market open this morning on an uninformed basis. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter if whatever announcement comes is positive or negative to the share price, what matters is that the market should've been informed before it opened today - even a simple 1 page update. For the company's sake, I hope they have up to date professional negligence insurance.
